Psa 127:1-5 ESV
(1) A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
(2) It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.
(3) Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.
(4) Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.
(5) Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
We have been blessed again. Early last Sunday morning at 12:35am, Miriam Grace Jensen came to live with us. She was 8lbs, and just over 20′.
Mother and baby are fine, just recovering.
I took the week off from work and have spent most of it at home while we celebrated the birth of our new daughter.
Miriam means :”out of the sea”
The meaning of “Grace” is pretty self-evident.
We intend her name to mean “out of the sea of God’s grace”
Thanks to our loving Father for giving us a healthy daughter and sparing us any complications. Please pray with us that He will enable us to raise her to some day come to know Him personally, so we can share eternity together.
Humbled by His blessings,
Craig

Congratulations! Great news!

Thanks Squirrel.
There will probably be pictures to follow, but Heather took all of the good ones, and I don’t want to use them before she gets to pick the ones she wants to use.
Hope you have a great Lords Day,
Craig

Congratulations! Sorry to be slow in checking in on your blog. May the Lord guide you in your efforts to balance home and work and church, and may he continue to give your family fruit in every good way.
